CAL POLY EQUESTRIAN TEAM

#1& 2 TEAMS IN THE REGION

The Cal Poly Equestrian Team, also known as CPET, is a student-run club on campus. Our team consists of non-competitive and competitive teams, giving all students the opportunity to ride horses. We compete in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA), showing both Hunt Seat and Western disciplines, and travel to state and national competitions throughout the year.

MEET OUR TEAM

ENGLISH

Our English Team competes in IHSA in both hunt seat equitation and hunt seat over fences. Divisions range from walk trot to open hunt seat at 3'.

Our General Team is noncompetitive and has the opportunity to ride western or english 5 days a week. Everyone from pure beginners to old pros are welcome to join!!
